About ECG
ECG, the Export Consultants Group, was set up to represent the interests of Australian exporters as well as the interests of export consultants.
Currently ECG has approximately 90 members. These members represent all types of consultants, from large consulting firms to small one person operations. A survey of members indicated that our members assisted over 2,000 Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) applicants and in total worked with over 4,000 exporters.
Since its inception in 1994 as EICA, and now in its current form, ECG has been involved in lobbying both government and the bureaucracy to support the EMDG scheme.

The existence of the scheme in its current format can be attributed substantially to the work that has been done by the ECG committee and various members.
