Australian Exports Sailing Around the World

Lisa McAuley - Friday, July 09, 2010

That can be taken figuratively, as Australia continues to send its product to every corner of the earth or, in the case of Seawind Catamarans, quite literally.

Seawind had a humble beginning over 25 years ago and now boasts its success, having reached the status of Australia’s largest manufacturer and exporter of sailing craft and cruising catamarans.

Exporting products, even unique ones, requires a continued effort. The search for the perfect product, choosing the markets where the product will succeed, breaking into those markets and then succeeding in sales creates a never-ending cycle. The sentence itself is exhausting and it doesn’t include the even longer list of minute details!

The dynamic whims of the international market place make it essential for exporters to put forth a solid effort and to grow in an ever-changing market. Businesses must always be searching for ways to improve or alter their product to meet consumer demands. And companies all over NSW are doing just that! As such, the Premier’s NSW Export Awards is not just about winning recognition but also the knowledge gained in the shared competitive environment with other leading companies.

Regardless of the reach your business may have, each and every endeavour increases Australia’s value to the world, and your value to Australia. The Premier’s NSW Export Awards is a chance for your business to have its value recognised.

Year in and year out, individual businesses strive to reach that next level in export. It takes sacrifice. It takes determination. And it takes dedication. Now the question is: does your business have what it takes?

Register for the Premier’s NSW Export Awards today. Deadline is 22 August 2010.
