African Women Trading Globally 2021

We are delighted to welcome 26 women entrepreneurs participating in the inaugural African Women Trading Globally initiative, representing 12 countries in the region. We thank the Australian Embassies and High Commissions in Africa for nominating these outstanding individuals, and for their generous support of this initiative. These Posts comprise:
- Australian Embassy in Egypt
- Australian Embassy in Ethiopia
- Australian Embassy in Zimbabwe
- Australian High Commission in Ghana
- Australian High Commission in Mauritius
- Australian High Commission in Nigeria
- Australian High Commission in South Africa

The program will consist of training sessions, peer discussions and one-on-one coaching delivered from June to September 2021. These sessions will cover a range of topics including market opportunity analysis, branding and e-commerce, intellectual property protection, border processes and logistics and trade finance. After these sessions, the program will then offer participants a virtual trade mission with Australian businesses.

The virtual trade mission is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to pitch their businesses to a range of Australian businesses across industries, providing them with the opportunity to develop their networks in Australia.

If you wish to be involved in this virtual trade mission, please contact angelawright@export.org.au.
