ECA announces Premier of QLDs Export Award Finalists
14.09.2018
The Export Council of Australia congratulates the finalists announced for the 2018 Premier of Queensland’s Export Awards. As exporters from across the state compete for 13 industry categories and 3 state-based awards, the program celebrates business excellence in international trade.
Chief Executive Officer of the Export Council of Australia, Alina Bain says “Queensland never fails to impress with a wide range of industry sectors consistently punching above their weight. This year we were excited to see an increase in new entrants across Agribusiness, Business Services and the Regional categories.
“The competition is extremely tough, and we are thrilled to see a number of new names recognised for their tremendous efforts. It’s fantastic to also see
the diversity of the companies that entered the awards this year.
“Acknowledging and celebrating the success of Queensland companies is an important part of encouraging more Australian companies to go global,” Ms Bain
said.
The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 11 October at the Hilton Brisbane with the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP, Premier of Queensland, Minister
for as guest of honour.
