Hello Victoria

Hello Victoria

The ECA on Monday had the pleasure of welcoming Victoria’s Minister of Trade and Investment Philip Dalidakis to officially open our new Victoria State Office in Melbourne.

The new office allows us to better serve our Victorian members, work with local partners, and service the state’s large and dynamic export community. Recent measures have shown Victoria to be the strongest performing state in the nation economically, backed by vibrant population growth as well as open and globally-connected economy. Victoria is a hub for home-grown Australian research, innovation, and start-ups, and an increasingly attractive Australian base for major international corporates and brands.

Minister Dalidakis noted these strengths as well as future projections that expect Victoria to cement its position as the strongest state economy in Australia and Melbourne as its largest city over the next 20 years.

ECA CEO Alina Bain says the new state office will allow us to be closer to the businesses driving this growth, and to help reinforce it through the ECA’s decades of experience in providing Australian SMEs with essential education and assistance in tackling international opportunity.

Over the coming months we will be rolling out a suite of new tools, research and events in Victoria, which will complement our on-going series of workshops and courses across the state.

We thank Rigby Cooke Lawyers for hosting the event, which was attended by our several of the ECA's members, partners and stakeholders from across Victoria.

Be sure to get in touch with us if you are a Victorian business engaged in or seeking to engage in international trade and learn more about the various ways we can help simplify the process for you.
