In early September 2017, the UK Department for International Trade partnered with the Australian Fashion Chamber and British Airways to take 4 Australian
designers to London Fashion Week in February 2018.
World renowned fashion designer Anya Hindmarch said, "40% of all money spent in London is on retail, making the UK a welcoming destination for Australian
designers to set up shop," and this opportunity is not one to be missed lightly.
Applications for the 'Designer Abroad London Programme' close on the 13th of October 2017.
With only 4 places available on the Designer Abroad London programme, the winning designers will be given unprecedented access to London Fashion Week 2018
where they will showcase their talented designs, meet key business and industry contacts, and gain access to a wider business programme helping them
expand into the highly attractive UK market.
