When your business succeeds, so does Australia!
It’s a big world with many opportunities! And it time you capitalised on them... The ECA, building on its 60-year history of educating Australian
international businesses, has developed a program that can help you build your capacity and capability, allowing you to become a confident
participant in the world of international business.
Whether you’re just starting out on your international business journey or you’re a seasoned exporter, you can follow the ECA’s pathway to international success.
Through practical education and training, the ECA has assisted thousands of companies to develop and grow business skills in international trade and we can do the same for you. With the ECA’s help you can take on the world!
If you want to take your international business career to the next level, or catapult your business onto the global stage, you need to improve your capability and grow your capacity. And the ECA Skills Development team is here to help!
The ECA has partnered with the Centre of Customs and Excise Studies (CCES), Charles Sturt University, to broaden the scope and deepen the relevance of our international skills development offerings. This partnership means that each ECA Accredited workshop completed now brings you a step closer to achieving an Advanced Diploma of International Business Management from CCES.
And the Advanced Diploma of International Business Management can then lead to credit in undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs with Charles Sturt University.
How does it work?
The ECA’s workshop program is available to everyone, whether you want to expand your knowledge base in one specific area only, or eventually complete the Advanced Diploma of International Business Management. Our highly skilled and experienced presenters will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to take on the world.
Just want to enrol for one or more workshops, but don’t want to complete the Advanced Diploma?
Choose the Non Accredited option, register, pay the Non Accredited fee and attend the workshop on the scheduled date. No more needs be done!
Want to enrol in the Advanced Diploma?
Choose the Accredited option, register, pay the Accredited fee and once you’ve attended the workshop on the scheduled date, use that workshop as a credit towards the Advanced Diploma. Once you’re registered for the Accredited workshop, we’ll advise the CCES and they’ll be in touch to enrol you in the Advanced Diploma.
What happens if you choose the Non Accredited option and then later decide to enrol in the Advanced Diploma?
Just contact the ECA! Provided you make the decision within three months of completing the workshop, we’ll ensure you get Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) for the workshop you completed and – for a small fee – still get the relevant credit towards your Advanced Diploma.

“Our business is about making it easy for people to make environmentally friendly choices. We are looking to expand into new overseas markets and the ECA have been a huge help in this endeavour. The ECA have given us introductions to key businesses that can help us in the markets we are looking at, and their workshops and seminars on topics relevant to exporting were extremely useful. All up, our association with the ECA has been a great asset to Fruity Sacks.”Become a Member
Homart Group has been established for 27 years, and specialises in manufacturing and marketing high quality Australian health supplements. Their products include two major segments of health supplements; skin care and dairy products. Their biggest export challenge is the regulations each country has for the import permits. It normally takes long time to get the registration approval before they can sell the goods into that country.
